Formula One MOD for Nascar Heat (F1v2)
This MOD was produced by The RDD (Dupont24fan) Team & Finished by Shawn Smith, AKA Tazmanaic04020 .-
- If you have never installed the F1v2 mod, go to the full install. (The following patch is only for those with the first F1v2 full install).
NEW UPDATED PATCH F1v2C Dated 01-17-03
- The update includes new Frame rate friendly cars, new windshield,
and a smaller steering wheel. I took my time on the cars and had to
totally redo them from scratch. I used some techniques acquired from
our friend Big Ben.
- The new Cars also have an AI change to them. You can now make the AI
respond and race without much crashing! We have included a new
mod_ghostcar.res with this update. All AI laps were created by F1 league
administrator Mart Bee.
- You can how ever still make your own AI to suite your racing style.
Just follow this simple rule.
- 1. Go to track and reset all records.
- 2. Then go race a clean fast lap, without touching the curbing and
staying away from the walls. About half car width
- 3. Then go back into Heat
C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\F1v2\ghostcar
and copy that Track_best_ ever_simulation.gcf file and rename it
(whatevertrack).gcf
- 4. Take that file place it into your folder of F1v2, and you have your own AI.
- If you are using a mod launcher you'll have to delete that entry and
recreate a new one. If you do not d/l this patch you will get a cheating error.
- I'd also like to thank all the F1 league drivers for all their support in this mod.
Without them this would not be so much fun! Thanks guys!!

in making things for Heat. I know I enjoy it, and I hope you enjoy racing them?
